Shawndell Edward Young
Shawndell is a sought after singer, songwriter, pianist, composer, adjudicator, and educator from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is the proud CEO and Artistic Director of YoungCo.LLC, an organization committed to Music, Ministry, Mentorship, and Education. Shawndell has been blessed to perform on TV specials, video game soundtracks, voice overs and numerous albums of all genres. Some of his favorite music credits include Sunday services as a worship leader, Chance The Rapper "Coloring Book Album", Game of Thrones Soundtrack, and performing during the 2022 Stellar Awards Weekend with numerous performing artist. He is grateful to share his gift of music in many different ways with an ultimate goal of encouraging and inspiring others. Shawndell is an experienced gospel recording artist, “I Can Project” “God Will Do”, and background singer in both gospel and secular genres, some credits include, Jacalyn Carr, Marvin Sapp, Ricky Dillard, Donald Lawrence, Bobby McFerrin just to name a few.
